A License is required in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin to market a Pre-Paid Legal Membership.

What Can I Do Before I Am Licensed in Florida?

1. Enroll Legal Plans in 36 Non-Licensed States & 3 Provinces of Canada
2. Enroll ID Theft in Every state except Montana & Alaska
3. Recruit Associates in EVERY state
4. Get Promoted and Paid (In Florida Recruit an Associate with ID Theft to get promoted 
    while you are getting licensed).

Florida Resident Licensing Process (Non-Residents Contact Marketing Services)

Step #1 - Apply for your Florida License (Florida Residents Only) - Click Here
    *    Florida License Fee is $57.95 
    *    Applying for License 02-56 Resident Legal Expense
    *    Non-US Citizens must fill out an additional form (click here)

Step #2 - Make Appointment For Fingerprints - Click Here
    *    Florida Department of Insurance requires everyone have a set of fingerprints done at one of the authorized   
         facilities.  The only exception is you have already been fingerprinted by the Dept. of Insurance (not real estate,
         education, etc.) in the previous 3 years.
    *    Fingerprints are $61.00

Step #3 - Notification for Picture
    *    You will be notified by mail when you are eligible to get your picture taken for your license.  You can also 
         Click Here and enter your social security number on the Department of Insurance Website.   When your 
         information appears, you can get your picture taken.  This can save you several days of waiting for your letter.

    *    Pictures are taken and Licenses issues at the Promissor Vue Fingerprinting Locations only.  Return to the Promissor 
         location where your fingerprints were taken and have your picture taken and license issued.  If you used L-1 Services for
         your fingerprints, you must go to the nearest Promissor location for your picture.

Step #4 - Appointment of Your License - Click Here For Appointment Form
    *    Once you have your license you must get it appointed with Pre-Paid Legal Services.  Make a photo
           copy of your FL Insurance License and fax it with your appointment form to 580-436-7555.  Call
           Marketing Services for your Appointment Date.  All Legal Plan Applications you submit in   
           Florida must be on or after your appointment date to be processed.
